About the role
The instructor is a direct care clinical position.
Responsibilities
- Implement developmentally appropriate direct preventive and therapeutic interventions to achieve the goals of the PCP, aligned with mental health or substance abuse diagnoses.
- Provide child and adolescent day treatment and partial hospitalization services as per DMA Clinical Coverage Policy 8A, under the supervision of a Qualified Professional.
- Report to the Lead Instructor.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to read and write, and understand and follow directions.
- Minimum requirements of an Associate professional (or higher) according to 10A NCAC 27G .0104.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a human services field with less than 1 year of post-graduate mental health/substance use experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with less than 2 years of post-bachelor mental health/substance use experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a non-human-services field with less than 4 years of relevant experience.
