Day Treatment Therapist
About the role
The Therapist position at Holly Hill is responsible for the provision of mental health services for referred individuals, including conducting diagnostic assessments, providing individual/group/family therapy, and completing associated clinical documentation. Collaboration with external stakeholders (e.g., school districts) is an essential aspect of this role.
Responsibilities
- Actively adhere to the six core principles of trauma informed care and promotes a trauma informed culture.
- Responsible for clinical service provision (e.g., individual, group, and family therapy services; diagnostic assessments) and management of a caseload as directed by supervisor and indicated by agency need.
- Responsible for meeting agency utilization expectations.
- Responsible for completion of clinical paperwork within agency timelines.
- Responsible for active participation in team meetings, staff meetings, and continuing education courses as indicated by licensure.
- Adheres to ethical standards of professionalism including maintaining confidentiality of each client and their family, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies.
- Prioritizes client care, focusing on delivering evidence-based best practices, resulting in optimal clinical outcomes for clients.
- Seeks to fulfill Holly Hill’s mission by providing quality services to clients served.
- Participates in Holly Hill’s Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or related mental health field.
- Licensure in the State of KY (LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, MFT, LMFT).
- Must meet Medicaid requirement for Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) or BHP under clinical supervision.
- Knowledge of mental health diagnosis (DSM V-TR) and ability to effectively utilize a range of therapeutic techniques.
- Requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to independently manage time and be flexible.
- Provide treatment services while maintaining clear, professional boundaries.
- Experience working with children and/or families in a clinical setting is preferred.
Benefits
The base salary for this position is $70,000 plus per year. We recognize and value additional qualifications and experience, and a higher starting salary may be offered to candidates who exceed the minimum requirements. Our compensation package is designed to be competitive and reflective of the skills and expertise each candidate brings to the role.
