About the role
The Therapist position at Holly Hill is responsible for providing mental health services, conducting diagnostic assessments, and offering individual, group, and family therapy. Collaboration with external stakeholders such as school districts is an essential part of this role.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to the six core principles of trauma-informed care and promote a trauma-informed culture.
- Provide clinical service provision (individual, group, and family therapy services; diagnostic assessments).
- Manage a caseload as directed by supervisor and agency needs.
- Meet agency utilization expectations.
- Complete clinical paperwork within agency timelines.
- Participate in team meetings, staff meetings, and continuing education courses as required by licensure.
- Maintain confidentiality of clients and their families, adhering to HIPAA regulations and agency policies.
- Prioritize client care, focusing on evidence-based best practices to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
- Fulfill Holly Hill's mission by providing quality services to clients.
- Engage in PQI activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or a related mental health field.
- Licensure in the State of Kentucky as LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, MFT, or LMFT.
- Must meet Medicaid requirement for Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) or BHP under clinical supervision.
- Knowledge of mental health diagnosis (DSM V-TR) and ability to utilize a range of therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage time independently and be flexible.
- Experience working with children and/or families in a clinical setting is preferred.
