Day Time Bus Detailer

Overview

We are looking to add bus detailers to our team. The role is available during the week for the day shift. Hours vary based on the daily bus schedule but typically start around 8am and can extend until 2-3 pm. The ideal candidate will detail the interior of buses using various cleaning solutions.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, their own transportation, live within 5 miles of 11735, and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of buses, including interior detailing.
• Wash, buff, and polish surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets and upholstery to ensure a fresh environment.
• Clean windows and mirrors for optimal visibility.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area and adhere to safety protocols.
• Assist with janitorial tasks as needed, contributing to overall facility cleanliness.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (essential for moving vehicles as needed).
• Own transportation to commute to Farmingdale, NY 11735.
• Live within 5 miles of 11735.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with team members.
• Experience in car wash techniques and detailing processes.
• Proficiency in buffing techniques for vehicle surfaces.
• Familiarity with general cleaning practices and custodial experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of window tinting (a plus but not required).
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player in a fast-paced environment.
