What You'll Do
- Operate different machines and automated work cells
- Manage more than one work cell at a time
- Perform packing line changes
- Troubleshoot shrink wrap machines, label printers, and basic machine/automation alarms using HMI controllers
- Document and enter production data into the production monitoring system (Hydra)
- Carry out routine quality inspections to identify defects or imperfections
- Handle materials such as getting and loading supplies with a pallet jack or other power equipment
- Support other production tasks within your skill set, including during staffing shortages
What We Require
- A high school diploma or trade school degree (GED)
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally with automated equipment or packaging lines
- Practical mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable using HMIs and basic production IT systems to enter data and monitor performance
- A focus on safety, quality, and documentation
- A team-oriented mindset: clear communication with colleagues, support when needed, and open sharing of information across shifts
