Machine Operator - 12 hr. shift (7:00pm to 7:30am)

Summary/Objective

Machine Operator/Technician Entry Level Technicians/Machine Operators are hired as members of a high-performance work team. Technicians are capable of operating several operational systems (several pieces of equipment) that are part of an entire manufacturing, process, or warehousing system.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required.
• Comply with Sunny Delight Beverage’s policies and procedures.
• Perform routine operations with minimum supervision.
• Operate production lines, keeping production flowing and meeting performance goals.
• Maintain a high level of quality that consumers expect from our products; visually check to assure consistent quality code.
• Operate basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills, grinders, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, make minor equipment adjustments, and handle changeovers or setups.
• Demonstrate ownership, confront business-related problems, and continuously improve equipment and processes.
• Perform basic cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of the equipment they operate.
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned (subject to change).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong technical, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• 2 or more years of machine operating experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Forklift experience preferred.
