Day Program Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Transporting individuals between their homes and the Day Program using a company passenger van.
  • Participating in community outings with the assistance of the individuals served.
  • Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering increased independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring their health and safety needs are met.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A Motor Vehicle Record meeting ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
  • The ability to push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs., and the ability to climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.
