Responsibilities
- Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety needs are met.
- Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of their life.
- Transporting individuals between their homes and the Day Program using a company van.
- Providing personal care assistance.
- Participating in community outings through transportation and assistance of the individuals served.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A valid Ohio driver's license.
- Fewer than 6 points in the last three years on your motor vehicle record.
- Able to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs., climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
