Day Program Activities Specialist - Full-Time- Neuro

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is a dynamic company committed to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury. Founded over 40 years ago, we specialize in developing programs tailored to the diverse needs of clients with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, including post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements culturally sensitive recreational, leisure, health-oriented, educational, physical, spiritual, and intellectual (cognitive) activities for groups within the Day Program.
• Develops a monthly calendar and schedule of events that meets the needs and interests of the clients served.
• Writes monthly progress notes, quarterly reports and annual or semi-annual individual care plans according to established guidelines, time frames and licensure requirements.
• Works directly with the client and provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote the client’s success within their individual care plan needs.
• Participates in the on-call rotation as scheduled.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree and five years of experience working with persons with disabilities is required.
• ACBIS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and run group activities in addition to providing direct client care as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain responsible driving behaviors.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $19-$21 per hour, based off of education and experience

Schedule

Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM
