Lifesteps is hiring a Part-Time Activities (Resident Engagement) Coordinator for Seniors in the Butler area. Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for over 100 years by “helping individuals and families with life's changing needs”. Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating therapeutic activities that meet Adult Day Health Services participants’ needs and preferences.
• Providing direct client care.
• Observing and reporting participants’ performance.
• Assisting staff with various aspects of service and delivery.
• Assuming the responsibilities of the Supervisor in the Supervisor’s absence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field.
• Two years’ experience in the human services field working with aging and functionally disabled adults.
• Must possess a valid driver's license which legally permits operating a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania.

Schedule

This part-time position works a schedule of Monday - Friday, 27.5 hours per week 12:00pm - 6:00pm. No Evenings, No weekends. No Holidays!
