Day Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Has responsibility for the educational and vocational programming for assigned individuals
• Assists the day program supervisor in establishing programming and assigning staff
• Functions as the team leader for the interdisciplinary team servicing each individual on his/her caseload
• Participates in all aspects of direct care for assigned individuals as needed
• Assists the Directors/Day Program Administrators with the daily organizational needs of the program

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• A minimum of (2) years of job related experience is required, specifically working with people with developmental disabilities or related field
• A minimum of an Associates degree or two completed years of college may be considered in lieu of 1 year experience
• Must be at least 18 years old and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
