Day Power Washer (Non-CDL) – Full-Time

About the role
As our next Power Washer, you'll be at the heart of our mission—delivering essential services that help improve public safety and enhance environmental quality. In this role, you'll operate high-pressure washing equipment to remove dirt, grime, graffiti, and other debris from buildings, sidewalks, streets, and other surfaces. You'll take ownership of assigned work areas, ensure equipment is operated safely and effectively, and help maintain clean, attractive public and private spaces while supporting safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment in accordance with company standards. Ensure all safety features are operational before beginning route.
- Review assigned routes thoroughly prior to departure. Be proactive in asking clarifying questions if the route or expectations are unclear.
- Complete assigned jobs within the allotted timeframe while maintaining expected quality and attention to detail.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently at all times, following all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and site-specific protocols. Exercise additional caution during inclement weather or challenging site conditions.
- Handle materials safely and securely; apply correct procedures for material types and disposal sites.
- Report any equipment issues, malfunctions, near misses, crashes, or injuries within 30 minutes or as soon as safely possible. Immediately escalate opportunities, work issues, or safety concerns to management.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing the company on job sites or in public areas. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients when needed.
- Accurately complete required logs, manifests, and forms.
- Respond appropriately to changes and challenges; identify and solve issues timely.
- Consistently report to work on time and as scheduled, with minimal unexcused absences. Be present and prepared to work throughout assigned shifts, reliably adhering to start times, breaks, and end times.
Requirements
- Ability to read
- 1 year DOT driving experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, and drug screening in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.

Physical Requirements
- Work Environment & Exposure: Constant work outdoors with regular exposure to weather, elements, and traffic; occasional exposure to loud noise, dust/debris, and jarring conditions; limited exposure to chemicals.
- Physical Demands: Frequent sitting and walking/standing; occasional bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling; limited stair climbing and crawling; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs at varying heights, including overhead.
- Cognitive & Sensory Requirements: Continuous reading, screen use, mental focus, and hand-eye coordination throughout the workday.
- Equipment & Tools: Operation of specialized equipment (e.g., mechanical broom sweeper) and use of hand controls, foot controls, and fine motor skills.
- Safety & Protective Gear: Required use of appropriate PPE, including high-visibility apparel, eye, ear, hand, foot, head, lung, and skin protection.
