Day Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
About the role
We seek compassionate and thoughtful individuals who share our passion for exceptional care in senior living. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
- Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
- Absorbs food trays and assists residents with feeding
- Assists resident with range of motion exercises
- Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
- Ambulates residents for short distances within the center
- Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
- Provides direct and indirect resident care services
- Maintains communication with residents and their family members, and center staff
- Communicates to nursing team changes in residents' clinical condition
- Performs other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred
- Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Missouri
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred
- Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication
- Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and center staff
