Day Camp Site Leader

About the role

This is a full-time position within the City of Elkhart's Department of Public Works.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain city infrastructure including roads, bridges, and public works facilities.
• Oversee the repair and construction projects to ensure compliance with safety standards and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate projects that improve the quality of life for residents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in public works or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Knowledge of public works regulations and best practices.
• Experience with project management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with some evening and weekend work as needed.
