What You Will Do

• Design and lead exciting, age-appropriate camp activities that keep kids engaged, active, and learning all summer long
• Bring the fun! Lead games, events, and daily programming alongside your counselor team
• Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate seasonal camp staff
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment where every camper feels safe, supported, and valued
• Oversee camper well-being, including health, safety, and daily care
• Keep a watchful eye on camp facilities and equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Build strong relationships with parents by communicating professionally and positively
• Uphold all health, safety, and camp policies to ensure a secure environment for all

Requirements

• Ability to interact positively with management, associates, and guests
• Ability to relate to youths and adults in a positive manner, including understanding of the development needs of youth
• Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the activity
• Physical ability to respond appropriately to situations requiring first aid. Must be able to assist campers in an emergency (fire, evacuation, illness, or injury) and possess strength and endurance to maintain constant supervision of campers

Education & Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field from accredited college / university
• Experience: Five (5) years education and / or camp program execution
• One (2) year supervisory experience

Hourly rate of pay

$32.00
