Database Team Lead

About the role

Entarian is seeking a Database Team Lead with experience deploying and managing databases supporting customer applications.

Responsibilities

• Architecting infrastructure, installing, and configuring database software products and database configurations in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and cloud database environments.
• Maintaining deployed database environments to meet availability and performance standards.
• Scheduling deployment activities and new installations of databases.
• Developing and ensuring compliance with security standards to meet ALTESS and ARMY security requirements.
• Maintaining and developing database monitoring and administrative dashboards for a proactive approach to database management.
• Knowledge of Cyber Command Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) processes and procedures.
• Ability to perform a Security Readiness Review (SRR) and document findings in a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) document.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Minimum five years’ experience with Application Server architecture in a large enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and cloud database environments.
• Knowledge of database administration responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the Cyber Command Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of Python and PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IAVM.

Pay

$100,000.00 - $140,000.00
