Database Engineer(PostgreSQL / SQL Server / Oracle / Ansible)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases across environments
• Perform database tuning, performance optimization, and query optimization
• Manage backup, recovery, replication, and high availability setups
• Automate database provisioning and configuration using Ansible
• Maintain database health and troubleshoot performance or availability issues
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and patching activities
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
• Ensure database security, access control, and compliance standards

Technical Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience in: PostgreSQL (Primary skill)
• Working knowledge of: Microsoft SQL Server
• Good to have: Oracle
• Experience with Ansible for database automation and configuration management
• Exposure to scripting (Shell/Python/PowerShell) is an added advantage
