Database Engineer (Oracle)

We are hiring a Database Engineer (Oracle) to work in the Fort Meade, MD vicinity. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years experience as a Database Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of DE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL

Responsibilities

• Provide administrator and engineer support with a focus on data optimization
• Work with large data sets, seeking Oracle efficiencies
• Work to optimize an Oracle system so that it operates at peak performance and efficiency
• Shape how massive and unusual data types are processed, stored, and leveraged
