Database Engineer/Oracle Database Administrator - CLEARANCE and with Security Clearance
Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
About the role
Constellation Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator with extensive experience in managing Oracle, NoSQL, and SQL databases. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of various database technologies including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL, as well as experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Bash, Perl, and Python. Proficiency in Java and experience with ETL processes is also essential.
Responsibilities
- Data migration, data replication, user administration, backup and recovery
- Performance tuning, issue investigation, issue resolution, and general administration
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL/PLSQL and SQL
- Scripting with JavaScript, Bash/Linux shell scripting, Perl, and Python
- Programming languages including Java
- Adopting and adhering to best practices
- Effective planning and prioritization of tasks
- High-quality work both independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- US Citizen
- TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline
- At least 10 years of high-level, in-depth database experience
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience with Cassandra
- Experience with MongoDB

Pay
$175,000 - $230,000 a year
Schedule
Flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the team and the client.
Location
Contract and work locations in Maryland, Virginia, Colorado, Texas, Utah, Florida and Hawaii.
