DATABASE CURATOR INTERNSHIP

Location: Must live within 60 miles of Clearwater, Florida. Must work onsite one day monthly for trainings and team meetings.

About the role

Contract internship lasting approximately 8 months, targeting a start date of August 8, 2026 and ending around April 2026.

Pay

$18.08 per hour

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
• 20 hours per week
• Flexible depending on class schedules

Responsibilities

• Research and verify nonprofit organizations throughout Florida by reviewing websites, online directories, and other reliable sources to maintain accurate database records.
• Update key organizational information including addresses, hours of operation, service locations, contact details, and available programs.
• Contact nonprofit organizations by phone to confirm information, validate records, and determine interest in joining the organization’s referral network.
• Accurately document research findings, phone conversations, and database updates while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Collaborate with the team to identify outdated or missing information and support the ongoing maintenance and expansion of the statewide nonprofit referral database.

• Must be currently enrolled in college
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Background check required
• Drug screening required
