IT Applications Database Intern

Responsibilities

• Aid in the technical support of software applications.
• Test, document, and troubleshoot applications, and image desktops.
• Support modifications and troubleshooting of the desktop imaging process for Windows and Mac machines, with a focus on Macs.
• Create software packages using tools like Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager/Endpoint Configuration Manager.
• Maintain SQL Server databases by running basic queries, reviewing data for accuracy, and assisting with routine database-related tasks.
• Communicate and collaborate with customers and teams across the firm.
• Coordinate special applications projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proficient with current Microsoft Windows and Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of networking and database concepts (SQL Server).
• Basic scripting and/or programming knowledge.
• Experience with cloud-based (SaaS) environments.
• Knowledge of AI tools and low-code/no-code solutions like Microsoft Power Automate/Power Apps.
• Good writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multitask.
• Proactive problem-solving approach with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.

Requirements

Student in an information technology or related associate’s or bachelor’s degree program.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is between $18.00 hour and $20.00 hour.

Candidates must be within commutable distance or willing to relocate at their own expense. Remote-only arrangements are not available for this position.
