About the Opportunity
The Database Administrator is responsible for maintaining and developing the organization's SQL data systems. This role analyzes database needs, develops long-term data storage strategies, and provides technical support for IT projects, ensuring data systems effectively support the organization's mission.
Responsibilities
- Assist with reporting using department-specific software and systems.
- Develop and modify databases, data warehouses, and management systems.
- Plan and implement security measures, including regular audits, to protect database information.
- Monitor and optimize database and system performance.
- Review and approve database modifications and data models following established procedures.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in IT, MIS, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Services, or equivalent experience.
- Four years of experience in database administration tasks such as query optimization, complex SQL writing, disaster recovery support, or server maintenance.
- Certification required for two-year degree holders.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Residence within the United States.
- Preferred experience with SQL database management and relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, INFORMS, IIBA, AWS, Azure).
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Salary range: $70,338 - $93,711.
