Data Validation Specialist

Contract position based in Raleigh, NC.

About the role

As a Data Validation Specialist, you will ensure the accurate entry and validation of customer and account data for both new and existing accounts. Your work will maintain data integrity by identifying inconsistencies, errors, duplicates, and missing information, and updating records according to established procedures. The role involves auditing data setups, collaborating with internal teams, and primarily working within databases and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer and account data accurately for new and existing accounts.
• Validate data to identify and correct inconsistencies, errors, duplicates, and missing information.
• Update and correct records using established procedures.
• Audit data setups to ensure the accuracy of account information.
• Maintain data integrity by working within databases and systems.
• Meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, primarily working with systems and spreadsheets.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with data entry, validation, auditing, or quality control.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google applications.
• Comfortable working with large amounts of data.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Very detail-oriented.
• Ability to work 100% on a computer without phone calls or extensive email exchanges.
• Comfortable with deadlines and fast-paced environments.

Schedule

Fully in-office from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with appropriate lunch and break times.

Pay

$22.50 - $22.50/hr.
