Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of a new software platform by preparing and validating vendor invoice data during the testing phase prior to go-live.
  • Review vendor invoices received through Outlook and upload invoice batches into Epicor Intelligent Document Capture (IDC) for AI recognition training.
  • Compare invoice data against system-generated results, identifying and mapping key data fields such as invoice number, totals, taxes, and other invoice attributes to improve AI accuracy.
  • Process approximately five invoices per vendor across a backlog of roughly 1,300 vendors, ensuring consistent and accurate data entry throughout the training process.
  • Track progress, vendor completion, and project status using Excel while collaborating with the implementation team to support a successful system deployment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in accounting, accounts payable, inventory, purchasing, or other data-intensive business operations.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience reviewing invoices, validating financial data, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with inventory concepts, product costing, or vendor invoice processing.
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Excel and Outlook to organize work, track progress, and manage large volumes of information.
  • Ability to perform repetitive, high-volume work accurately while maintaining consistency and meeting project deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, Prophet 21 (P21), or other accounting/inventory platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Skills

  • ERP systems experience (Epicor, Prophet 21).
