Data Specialist

About the role

This is an 11-month temporary hybrid assignment located in Houston, TX 77042, with a pay rate of $22.00 - $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, load, edit, and finalize Answer Products for Petrophysical, Geological, and/or Borehole Reservoir products.
• Support the Archive team by taking data to archive using in-house software.
• Load digital data and perform quality reviews of data integrity for further processing.
• Perform data preparation, including depth matching, splicing, merging, and other data editing tasks such as Basic Image and log normalization, with possible dip picking.
• Create final data composites from interpreted products as required by PTE or Solutions organization.
• Handle digital data management and transmission via physical delivery or web-based services.
• Ensure accurate and secure data delivery.

Requirements

• Proficient in Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills for collaboration within a team of four.
• Ability to communicate professionally with stakeholders.
• No previous experience required; on-the-job training (OJT) provided.
• Must be willing to perform repetitive daily tasks consistently.

Pay

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour.
