Data Services Analyst

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage customer requests using internal systems
• Develop and deliver custom data solutions
• Use AI tools and assistants to increase efficiency
• Build proficiency in DMSi’s evolving product and integration ecosystem
• Develop and maintain an advanced working knowledge of internal support tools and delivery processes
• Aid other DMSi personnel through escalation support, coaching, and training
• Assist with internal projects to support departmental and organizational objectives

Requirements

• SQL/query proficiency (Cyberquery a plus)
• BMI tools (Power BI, Phocas, Tableau, etc.)
• ETL/data lineage and database fundamentals (schemas, indexes, keys)
• Genuine curiosity paired with strong problem-solving, research, and independent business challenge handling
• Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, Copilot) to speed up and improve work quality
• High attention to detail, correct issue diagnosis, and validated solutions before customers see them
• Familiarity with integration/automation (Workato or similar), comfort with code reviews, and tools like GitHub
• Prioritization, stress management, meeting deadlines
• Clear communication, relationship building across all levels, tact, and confidentiality

Qualifications

• College degree in Data Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred
• 3-5 years of equivalent work experience in a relevant field
