About the role

Be part of something groundbreaking at AIG, where we are making long-term investments in a brand-new, innovative Generative AI team. This team is central to our vision of the future and the core of our business offering.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and successful delivery of data science and generative AI solutions in accordance with business requirements.
  • Monitor solutions in production to ensure performance, reliability, and accuracy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and business leaders to translate requirements into technical reality.
  • Build robust evaluation frameworks to measure LLM efficacy, manage ground truth dataset quality, and guide the product development roadmap.
  • Design scalable ML pipelines and RAG frameworks that integrate seamlessly with enterprise data structures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a data science role, with a strong emphasis on NLP and ML, working in an agile production-oriented environment.
  • Experience successfully delivering multiple GenAI, analytical, or ML projects from conception through to production.
  • Strong, expert-level proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (e.g., PyTorch, Pandas, Scikit-learn).
  • 5+ years of practical experience with open-source Large Language Models (Llama 3, Mixtral, etc.), including prompt engineering, inference optimization, and fine-tuning.
  • 3+ years of experience building Generative AI Solutions, including designing and building RAG frameworks, validation pipelines, observability, and monitoring solutions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
