We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team in San Francisco. This is a permanent position where you’ll help drive data-driven decision-making across the company.
About the role
As a Data Scientist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex datasets, build predictive models, and derive actionable insights. You’ll play a key role in shaping our data strategy and improving business outcomes through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems.
- Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production systems.
- Design experiments and A/B tests to measure impact and optimize performance.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in data science and apply best practices.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in data science or a similar role.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
