About the role
RPM is looking for a Data Scientist to join our team. You’ll work on a variety of projects that help us understand user behavior, optimize our ad-tech stack, and build predictive models that drive revenue and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy machine-learning models that predict user intent, ad performance, and campaign lift.
- Clean, normalize, and enrich large-scale event logs and third-party data feeds.
- Collaborate with engineering to productionize models in real-time bidding pipelines.
- Partner with product and marketing teams to translate business questions into analytical experiments.
- Monitor model drift, A/B-test new features, and iterate based on results.
- Document methodologies, present findings, and evangelize data-driven decision-making across the company.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping ML models in industry (ad-tech, recommendation systems, or fraud detection preferred).
- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- Experience with SQL, Spark, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

- Supervised and unsupervised learning (classification, regression, clustering, dimensionality reduction).
- Feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation.
- Experiment design and causal inference.
- Data visualization (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
- Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
