Data Scientist
Responsibilities
Aid in and execute data science projects, collaborating with product, engineering, and/or customer service teams to define requirements, conduct analysis, and present findings and solutions to stakeholders.
Design, develop, test, and refine statistical algorithms that power Lotame's business operations, applying knowledge of data modeling, machine learning, and optimization to large-scale datasets.
Create and help to productize scalable predictive models in areas such as performance optimization, behavioral profiling, audience segmentation, and identity resolution.
Collaborate with other members of the Lotame Data Science team to support various products, including Lotame's Optimizer and Cross Device.
Communicate effectively with team members about progress, challenges, and availability within a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related field; Master’s Degree preferred; equivalent knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, etc accepted.
- Strong fundamental understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, big data analytics, and algorithmic analysis.
- Ability to select appropriate approaches and algorithms to problems and articulate the rationale behind chosen solutions.
- Experience with and/or theoretical understanding of distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop, MapReduce, MPI, and ideally, some experience with Spark, Amazon EMR, and/or Hive.
- Experience working with datasets in a cloud environment, including tools such as EMR, S3, and Athena.

Compensation Range: USD $73,500.00 - USD $136,500.00/Annually
