Data Scientist
Responsibilities
Aid in and execute data science projects, collaborating with product, engineering, and/or customer service teams to define requirements, conduct analysis, and present findings and solutions to stakeholders.
Design, develop, test, and refine statistical algorithms that power Lotame's business operations, applying knowledge and training in data modeling, data mining, and optimization to large-scale data sets.
Create and help to productize scalable predictive models in areas such as performance optimization, behavioral profiling, audience segmentation, and identity resolution.
Work alongside other members of the Lotame Data Science team to provide statistical algorithm development and support for various products, including Lotame's Optimizer and Cross Device.
Communicate effectively with team members about progress, obstacles, and availability, as part of a hybrid working community.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related field; a Master’s degree is preferred, but equivalent knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, etc., is acceptable.
Show a strong foundational understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, big data analytics, and algorithmic analysis, with the ability to select appropriate approaches and algorithms and articulate their appropriateness.
Have experience and theoretical knowledge in algorithms such as Bayesian Data Analysis, Classification, Clustering, Regression, Collaborative Filtering, and Graph Algorithms.
Be familiar with and ideally have experience with distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop, MapReduce, MPI, and tools such as Spark, Amazon EMR, and Hive.
Experience working with datasets in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google) is beneficial, though not required.

Compensation Range: USD $73,500.00 - USD $136,500.00/Annually
