Data Scientist

About the role

J5 Consulting is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to support mission-critical intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with ECL, HPCC, Python, C, and SQL, and will leverage these technologies to produce mission-relevant analytic products that support customer objectives in a fast-paced Intelligence Community environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data
• Develop data models
• Perform advanced analytics in clustered computing environments
• Manipulate high-volume structured and unstructured data to perform analysis and generate sound mission relevant analytic reporting/products
• Use computer languages (e.g., Python, C, SQL) to perform large scale parallel processing of the sponsor's data
• Perform large scale parallel processing of data, and develop, validate, and use methodologies to support analytic requirements in Clustered Computing environments
• Data modeling

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with ECL and HPCC (5 years minimum in ECL)
• Demonstrated experience using analytic techniques and tools performing technical targeting analytic support for this Sponsor across a spectrum of mission spaces to include applying analytic judgement to data presented
• Demonstrated experience manipulating high-volume structured and unstructured data to perform analysis and generate sound mission relevant analytic reporting/products
• Demonstrated experience using computer languages (e.g., Python, C, SQL) to perform large scale parallel processing of the sponsor's data
• Demonstrated experience performing large scale parallel processing of data, and developing, validating, and using methodologies to support analytic requirements in Clustered Computing environments
• Demonstrated experience with data modeling

Qualifications

• US Citizenship: This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed.
• Security Clearance: The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
• Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements.
