Responsibilities

  • Model Development
    • Develop and implement machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions to address business challenges.
    • Engage in the practical aspects of coding, data preprocessing, and model validation.
    • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and scalability of data science deliverables.
  • Data Analysis and Insight Generation
    • Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Contribute to the design and execution of predictive models for customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
    • Support the interpretation of analytical findings and provide actionable insights.
  • Experimentation and Testing
    • Assist in designing and implementing testing and experimentation strategies, including A/B testing and controlled experiments.
    • Analyze results from experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies.
    • Contribute to the development of guidelines and best practices for experimentation.
  • Collaboration and Support
    • Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, investments, and finance, to understand business needs and data requirements.
    • Support senior data scientists in executing projects aimed at optimizing business operations and improving customer experience.
    • Participate in the identification of data-driven opportunities and provide support for strategic initiatives.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in data science and machine learning.
    • Participate in team meetings and collaborative sessions to share knowledge and best practices.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve technical skills and contribute to the team’s growth.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Communicate analytical findings and insights to team members and stakeholders.
    • Prepare reports and visualizations to convey data-driven insights effectively.
    • Support the development and delivery of presentations to non-technical audiences.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
    • 1-3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
    • Experience with Databricks is preferred.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
    • Basic understanding of machine learning models and advanced analytics techniques.
    • Good communication skills for conveying technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
