Responsibilities
- Support mission-critical programs in secure government environments
- Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
- Ensure compliance with contract and security standards
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance
- Perform tasks associated with Big Data Platform management, utilizing skills in programming languages
- Develop prototype algorithms, refine algorithms, and support data visualization and analytics
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- Experience supporting government or DoD programs
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant experience in designing/implementing machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, advanced mathematical foundations, artificial intelligence, workflow and reproducibility, data management and curation, data modeling and assessment, or software engineering
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ relevant experience OR Associate’s degree plus 5 years’ experience (in-depth experience may be considered for related roles)
Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science. A degree in a related field, physical/hard sciences, or other science disciplines with a substantial computational component may be considered if it includes a concentration of coursework in advanced mathematics and/or computer science.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP, PMP, AWS, etc.)
- Agile, cloud, or modernization experience
Pay
The projected salary range for this position is $114,900–$127,700, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and contract requirements.
