Data Quality Analyst

Core Responsibilities

• Data-Driven Decision & Root-Cause Remediation
• Translate complex analytical findings into concise visual stories and briefings that drive timely actions across the production site and downstream customers.
• Design and maintain Power BI/Tableau dashboards that surface defect trends, first-pass yield, scrap rates, and other KPIs to enable real-time, actionable decision-making.
• Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators; maintain audit-ready data to satisfy ISO 9001/AS9100 and other stringent regulatory and contractual standards.
• Partner with Quality and Manufacturing Program Managers, engineering leads, and Change Control Boards to align on quality objectives and deliver timely health metrics.
• Leverage Python, VBA, or Alteryx to automate data extraction and trend analysis, reducing manual effort and accelerating the decision cycle.
• Identify and ingest Client internal and external data sources; build robust ETL pipelines with rigorous quality assurance and lineage documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
• Professional experience analyzing large datasets, building automated reports/dashboards, or supporting quality improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
• Experience collaborating in a cross-functional environment and communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with statistical methods used in manufacturing (SPC, Capability Analysis, Pareto, Design of Experiments).
• Certification or training in Six Sigma, Lean, or other structured continuous-improvement methodologies.
• Experience building automated data workflows or ETL processes using Python, SQL, or Alteryx.
• Prior experience in Aerospace, Defense, or High-Reliability Electronics manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other aerospace quality standards.
