Develop, read, and write SQL queries to support data profiling, cleansing, and transformation efforts.
Analyze data quality issues and work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to resolve them, ensuring consistent data integrity.
Work closely with business teams and internal stakeholders to align data quality efforts with organizational objectives.
Apply data management best practices to improve the quality of data by performing data profiling, transformation, and cleansing.
Effectively manage multiple priorities, deliver projects on time, and communicate status updates on your work to ensure alignment with timelines.
Contribute to the development and execution of data quality improvement projects, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards.
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong experience in data management principles including data profiling, cleansing, and transformation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to communicate effectively with business teams and SMEs at various levels
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer
Preferred:
- A solid understanding of Enterprise Data Quality approaches and best practices for implementation
- Experience in conducting Data Quality Improvement projects, especially using the Ten Steps to Quality Data methodology
- Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Quality & Observability and Data Catalog/DIP
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly experience with Kanban and daily standups
- Experience in Information Governance or Data Management at a mid-level
