While this is initially a part-time role, it's central to our efforts to improve the efficiency, quality, and accuracy of the core data entities that power our business.
Responsibilities

- Data Validation & Hygiene: Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies, enforcing validation rules across the catalog to ensure high data integrity.
- Taxonomy Mapping: Ensure products and brands are correctly categorized and mapped to our internal taxonomy, optimizing product relationships and hierarchies.
- System Updates: Execute routine data entry, bulk CSV uploads, and system updates to ensure our data feeds are accurate and up-to-date.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement rigorous data quality checks and routine audits to maintain the integrity and accuracy of our product data.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities to automate routine data management tasks and improve operational workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Operations Specialist, Catalog Administrator, or similar role, preferably in an e-commerce, retail, or supply chain environment.
- Expertise in managing and updating large product catalogs and complex entity relationships.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros) for bulk data manipulation.
- Experience working with internal databases, content management systems (CMS), or Product Information Management (PIM) tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL or other relevant querying languages for data validation and basic reporting is a strong plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards.

A detail-oriented problem-solver with a strong background in catalog management who is excited by the challenge of maintaining a high-volume product data model and driving efficiency through process optimization. Most importantly, the specialist has a drive for accuracy and creating robust, reliable data operations.
