About Constellation

Constellation is an independent research center that facilitates cooperation among AI safety researchers from various sectors including nonprofits, academia, industry, and government. It operates continuously, hosting weekly gatherings of over 200 people and annual visits from hundreds more. Past participants have gone on to safety-focused roles at leading organizations like METR, Redwood Research, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, OpenAI, and the US and UK Safety Institutes.

About The Role

We are seeking a Data & Operations Specialist to manage CRM operations and system integrations at Constellation. This role involves maintaining accurate data, automations, and integrations across multiple systems. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure smooth operations.

  • Data operations:
    • Solve data needs sustainably and scale.
    • Ensure timely on- and offboarding of users.
    • Ensure data integrity and consistency.
    • Manage user identity across systems.
    • Manage data imports, exports, and migrations.
  • Systems:
    • Build new automations and integrations.
    • Debug and maintain integrations between Hubspot, Airtable, Envoy, Robin, Slack, and Brivo.
    • Administer the Constellation Slack.
    • Administer the business intelligence data pipeline.
  • Reporting & Communications:
    • Create and maintain dashboards and reports in HubSpot and BI tools.
    • Maintain and segment mailing lists in HubSpot.
    • Document systems, processes, and integrations.

Skills & Experience

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • Experience with CRM administration (HubSpot preferred).
  • Familiarity with Git and command-line workflows.
  • Experience with or willingness to quickly learn: Hubspot CRM, Airtable, Slack Enterprise Grid, dbt, Dagster.
  • Experience using agentic AI to safely manage complex workflows and write code.
  • Familiarity with APIs.
  • Demonstrated interest in mission-driven organizations or causes.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with data warehouse design or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience administrating Slack Enterprise Grid, using SCIM, or in a multi-workspace environment.
  • Comfort writing SQL.
  • Familiarity with API integrations, including REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in statistics, computer science, data science, economics, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation & Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $109,000 – $130,000 per year. Benefits include:
