How You Will Make an Impact
- Dive deep into proprietary data sources to find and write the stories that will interest the media and establish Insurify as the leading source of insurance data
- Gather and analyze public data and research to balance topical and tangential content topics
- Keep track of topics and trends in the media to understand how our data, content, studies and reports can pick up on trending topics
- Play a key role in creating a proactive content strategy that drives media attention and builds authority
- Analyze competitor content and successes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Drive the data content strategy and creation for auto, homeowners, and other insurance verticals related to personal finance
- Own the whole process of data content creation from ideation to data analysis to writing
- Identify opportunities to collaborate with stakeholders to launch new data content
Who You Are
- A self-starter who has a portfolio of data storytelling
- Has 2+ years of data writing and data analysis experience
- Has some experience with digital PR and is motivated to get your insights reported on by the media
- Is interested in learning SQL, Python or R
- Is excited about brainstorming and developing new data-driven content ideas
- Is always looking for incremental ways to improve whatever you are working on
- Loves writing and has strong communication skills
- Is an analytical person who dives deep to understand the "why" behind questions
- Is a detailed-oriented person who takes time to understand what will engage your audience
- Consistently strikes a writing tone that communicates depth of knowledge and empathy
- Can accurately employ AP style and active voice within your writing
- Has experience acting as the expert source for media interview, including but not limited to TV (Preferred, not required)
Location
This is a remote position with the ideal candidate being able to come into our Cambridge, MA office on a hybrid basis.

Compensation
Below is the base compensation range for Cambridge, MA: $70,000-$80,000
