Data Integrations Analyst

Location: Hybrid schedule onsite 3 days per week in Manhattan, NY. Duration: 3-6 month+ contract

This client leverages data, market intelligence, and emerging technologies to uncover opportunities, improve processes, and drive growth.

About the role

We're looking for a sharp, curious analyst to join us on a series of high-value data initiatives. Across the business, we work with large volumes of data from many different sources — overlapping in some ways, inconsistent in others — and we're looking for someone who can shape it into clean, well-structured datasets, draw out the patterns that matter, and turn the findings into insights that help guide where the business goes next.

Responsibilities

• Take large volumes of data from multiple, inconsistent sources and design structured databases across them.
• Identify the commonalities and differences across sources and build the structure that reconciles them.
• Combine multiple existing datasets into one new, cleaner dataset.
• Research and assess external/third-party databases that could add value, and integrate them where it makes sense.
• Conduct in-depth market research on industry trends and competitive landscapes to support strategic decision-making.
• Translate data into clear strategic narratives — surfacing patterns, anomalies, and emerging opportunities, and presenting findings to the sales strategy team.
• Use AI-powered tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) to accelerate research, streamline data workflows, and improve the speed and accuracy of case valuations.
• Work closely with the Business Intelligence Lead, taking direction and delivering work that can be confidently delegated to you with minimal hand-holding.

Requirements

• Mid to high-level capability in data analysis, data aggregation, and database creation.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Python.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• A genuine critical thinker — comfortable with ambiguity, disparate sources, and designing structure where none exists yet.
