The Data Entry Specialist – Excel required position is a fully remote, contract-to-hire opportunity based in the United States.

Accountabilities

  • Transfer and process Excel files into the designated Trilogy system on an hourly basis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information using established data-entry procedures.
  • Configure and apply Excel formulas to prepare files for efficient mass uploads.
  • Compile, validate, and enter data into spreadsheets, databases, reports, and forms.
  • Review submitted information carefully, identify discrepancies or errors, and make corrections according to established instructions.
  • Maintain complete and organized records of data inputs, processing activity, and completed assignments.
  • Perform standard calculations and compile statistics accurately.
  • Proofread completed work to ensure consistent formatting, completeness, and data quality.
  • Communicate processing concerns, issues, updates, and exceptions promptly to management.
  • Consistently remain focused on assigned tasks and meet established productivity, quality, and accuracy targets.
  • Follow standardized processes and procedures while adapting to changing data-processing requirements.
  • Contribute to a dependable, collaborative, and quality-focused remote working environment.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Strong Excel formula skills, including the ability to prepare and format files for mass uploads.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while consistently following standardized procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage recurring, high-volume workloads.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to identify data inconsistencies and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Able to perform routine, repetitive data-processing tasks while maintaining a high level of concentration and accuracy.
  • Dependable and self-motivated approach, with the ability to consistently meet defined deadlines and productivity expectations.
  • Previous experience working with Trilogy preferred.
  • Experience creating or using Excel macros for data formatting and file preparation preferred.
  • Familiarity with Airtable preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume customer data processing, database maintenance, or similar data-entry environments preferred.
