Data Entry Specialist
About the role
Careerscape is hiring a Data Entry Specialist for a hybrid, full-time position based in Austin, TX, supporting a growing business services organization.
Compensation
$36,000–$46,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a full benefits package.
What you'll do
- Enter, update, and verify data across internal databases and spreadsheets
- Review records for accuracy and correct discrepancies
- Organize and maintain digital files and documentation
- Process incoming information within established turnaround times
- Generate routine reports and data summaries
- Communicate with team members to confirm information
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data
What we're looking for
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfort with computers and typing (40+ WPM preferred)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Able to work a hybrid schedule from the Austin office
- Reliable high-speed internet for remote days
Nice to have
- Prior data entry or administrative experience
- Experience with CRM or database software
- Fast, accurate typing (60+ WPM)
