Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently enter data from various sources, including legal documents, client records, and correspondence, into the firm’s digital systems.
- Review and verify data for errors or omissions, correcting any inconsistencies to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update client files and legal case information with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Organise and prepare source documents for data entry.
- Assist legal staff by retrieving data and generating reports as requested.
- Comply with data integrity, security policies, and legal regulations at all times.
- Perform regular database maintenance and quality assurance checks to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in a legal setting or familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous but not essential.
