Data Entry Specialist
This role focuses on supporting customers as they pre-order products, ensuring a smooth and positive experience at every step.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with pre-ordering products, providing clear and accurate information throughout the process.
- Deliver a positive customer experience through timely, professional, and friendly responses via email and live chat.
- Handle a high volume of customer enquiries while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Enter and update customer and order information accurately in internal databases and ERP systems.
- Navigate and work across multiple screens, enquiries, and systems simultaneously.
- Use Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, to support data entry, tracking, and reporting tasks.
- Organise and prioritise daily workload to ensure prompt resolution of customer requests.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share information and ensure consistent, high-quality customer support.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to maintain data accuracy and service quality.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience in any capacity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong written skills using Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proven ability to multitask across multiple screens, enquiries, and systems.
- Customer service oriented mindset with a focus on delivering a positive experience.
- Ability to work confidently with internal databases and ERP or similar systems.
Qualifications
- Experience using ERP systems for order or customer management.
- Advanced Excel skills for data tracking and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
- A proactive and flexible approach to handling changing priorities.
- Comfortable using live chat platforms and email-based customer support tools.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Schedule
This is an in-office role based on a Monday to Friday schedule, typically from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Work Environment
You will work in a professional office environment using multiple computer screens, internal databases, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools throughout the day. The setting is structured yet supportive, with a consistent daytime schedule that helps maintain work-life balance.
This is a Contract to Hire, fully onsite position in Newbury Park, CA.
