Data Entry Clerk - Recovery Center - Calera, AL

About the role

Join the 1st Franklin Team as a Recovery Center Customer Service Representative. This position works closely with the Recovery Center Manager and staff to receive and post payments in a timely manner, create and maintain records of collection and account status, and assist customers using advanced interpersonal skills. The role requires professionalism, patience, curiosity, and a results-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Performs collections and recovery through personal contact with assigned customers.
• Prepares and processes documents for filing legal action through the court system.
• Conducts follow-up communication with the court system on the progress of filed actions.
• Resolves issues with the court system for improperly filed documents.
• Obtains contact information for use in collections and recovery efforts.
• Performs a wide variety of clerical duties.
• Assists branches in completing documents for legal action as needed.
• Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of Company and Legal policies, procedures, and the Recovery program.
• Adheres to and enforces all Compliance issues, 1FFC policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations.
• Ensures all cash drawer safeguards are maintained, keeping accurate records and reports.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to analyze relevant information and apply individual judgment.
• Advanced interpersonal relationship skills at a variety of levels and in differing social and business settings.
• Ability to maintain confidential business and personal information.
• Action and result-focused.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
• Proficient with MS Office Suite products.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate an automobile.
