Responsibilities
- Enter purchase orders, vendor invoices, sales orders, and customer invoices into the company database or ERP system.
- Verify the accuracy of pricing, quantities, product codes, and customer/vendor information.
- Maintain and update inventory records based on purchase and sales transactions.
- Review documents for completeness and follow up on missing or incorrect information.
- Process order adjustments, returns, credits, and corrections as needed.
- Generate reports related to purchases, sales, inventory, and order activity.
- Absorb and reconcile purchase and sales records with supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting activities.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding order discrepancies and data corrections.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and data entry standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in data entry, sales administration, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP, accounting, or inventory management systems preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
