Data Development Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the country’s largest Citizens Advice organisations, delivering advice and advocacy services to tens of thousands of people every year. We deliver services by phone, digitally and face to face, in multiple locations and to some of Sheffield’s most vulnerable communities. We also work to influence local and national policy and are committed to increasing the opportunities for those who use or need our services to help shape what we deliver. As Data Development Manager you will play a key role within the organisation by leading the transformation and strategic use of data to drive service excellence, demonstrate impact, and support organisational decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a new organisational data strategy
• Ensure robust data governance
• Advance data architecture and reporting capability across all services
• Oversee the optimisation of case management systems
• Develop a range of client feedback tools (both qualitative and quantitative)
• Line manage the Data Analyst

Requirements

• Proven experience in data strategy implementation and case management system development and administration

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Data Science, Statistics, or Information Management (desirable)

Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of data architecture, data governance, GDPR/data protection compliance, and outcome tracking methodologies
• Strong analytical, technical, and stakeholder management skills
