Responsibilities
- Schedules appointments with schools, administers assessments, reports completed assessments to the Project Coordinator(s) weekly, returns assessments to NIEER, and performs data entry and cleaning.
- Completes reliability requirements for assessments and classroom observations.
- Maintains communication with assigned child care programs, preschools, or schools to facilitate data collection.
- Administers assessments or observations in designated classrooms, as trained.
- Maintains daily monitoring of participant participation and follows up with surveys.
- Administers semi-structured interviews to teachers, as needed.
- Provides daily reports on completed work.
- Ensures data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality, adhering to study protocols.
- Enters data as trained by coordinators and assists in data cleaning and/or entering.
- Supports coordinators in project management tasks related to data collection.
- Handles special projects based on demonstrated knowledge and job skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus or major in child development, early childhood, psychology, or related field.
- Knowledge about child development and developmentally appropriate early childhood teaching practices.
- Experience in classroom settings and/or working with children.
- Ability to write, speak, and read Spanish.
- Experience working with Hispanic communities.
