Data Collection Operator

About the role

Perform daily data collection on various hardware and software platforms. Manage readiness of collection platforms including device setup, deployment, and sensor calibration. Handle daily to multiple data offloads for given data collections. Provide daily debriefs on status, milestones, and throughput. Catalog thorough bug reports for both hardware and software platforms. 50% domestic travel is required.

• Calibrate sensors on collection platforms
• Manage daily to multiple data offloads for data collections
• Provide daily debriefs on status, milestones, and throughput
• Catalog thorough bug reports for hardware and software platforms

Skills

• Troubleshooting (top skill)
• Skilled in data collection with human participation
• Fundamental understanding of capturing diverse data in both humans and scenes
• Ability to manage and maximize throughput in a given region or lab environment
• Ability to perform basic triage in the field for both hardware and software platforms
• Ability to use available resources to support escalation paths to appropriate DRIs
• Basic familiarity with CLI (e.g., bash, common syntax)

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a data collection-driven role
• Entry-level experience

Pay

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
