Key Responsibilities
- Install and replace CPUs, memory, drives, and disk caddies
- Perform disk swaps, drive replacements, and basic hardware troubleshooting
- Work confidently with motherboards, PCIe slots, risers, and PCIe adapters
- Rack and stack servers, network, and storage equipment
- Execute clean and structured cable management (copper and fiber)
- Handle single-mode and multi-mode fiber, including cleaning, routing, labeling, and patching
- Maintain proper bend radius and data center best practices
- Follow installation guides and remote instructions accurately
- Support break/fix and deployment activities as required
Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years hands-on experience in a data center environment
- Strong server hardware experience (Dell, HPE, Supermicro, or similar)
- Proven experience with fiber cabling and patch panels
- Excellent rack & stack and cable management discipline
- Basic understanding of networking and system connectivity (support level)
Education & Certifications
- Average or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is preferred but not mandatory
- Relevant hardware, data center, or cabling certifications are a plus
General Requirements
- Willingness to travel to data center sites on short notice
- Flexible to work nights and weekends when required
- Must be comfortable working in live data center environments
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
- Access to or familiarity with standard data center tools and ESD practices
